Which Can Be Rendered and Conducted by the Research Staff of the IMASH RAN
1. The IMASH RAN is ready to assist in the development of structures and scientific and technical support of full-scale vibration and shock tests of scientific space instruments LEND.
2. The IMASH RAN can conduct qualified tests for friction and wear in various media: liquid, without lubrication, in a vacuum, using its advanced scientific & research eqipment.
3. Ion technology for creating precision grooves on gas dynamic contactless face seals used to seal the working volumes of centrifugal pumps and compressors. The use of dry gas seals can improve the quality of the pumped gas product, ensure environmental safety, improve working conditions, and reduce maintenance costs for pumping units.
4. Know-how on the production and application of combined metal-fluoroplastic tape material and bearings made of it, capable of operating: without lubrication over a wide temperature range (minus 200 + - 3000С); with limited lubrication; in liquids that do not have lubricating properties (fuels, water, solvents, etc.); in high-speed friction units with hydrodynamic lubrication (traditional engine oils). They are absolutely fretting resistant.
The use of thrust bearings and bearings of metal-fluoroplastic tape will allow to increase the service life of turbo-compressor units of various purposes by an order of magnitude (by 10 or more times).
5. Vacuum ion-plasma technology for the application of wear-resistant coating of titanium nitride on the details of movable contact seals made of ordinary cheap steels. This will save expensive alloyed steel and hard alloys.
6. Vacuum ion-plasma technology for depositing antifriction coating from molybdenum disulphide and combined antifriction coatings based on dichalcogenides, soft metals and refractory chemical compounds on precision parts of machines and devices operating for a long time in conditions of impossibility of using traditional lubricating (liquid and consistent lubricants).
7. Kinetic express-method for assessing tribotechnical properties and performance of coatings and materials of friction units. The device and method of testing materials (compact and surface-thin coatings) tribotechnical are designed for rapid assessment of indicators of contact interaction, the magnitude of the bearing capacity of the surface layer, mechanisms of loss of efficiency of compact materials and coatings.
8. Methodological materials on scientifically justified choice of material and thickness of thin hard wear-resistant coatings of tribotechnical design for friction units operating under conditions of high contact loads.
9. Micromechanical tests for determining the mechanical properties of a thin surface layer by the method of kinetic microhardness with the possibility of heating up to 300 ° C with the recording of an indentation diagram. (In the Russian Federation it is the only device that allows you to record the indentation diagram when surfaces are heated (microhardness meter CSM, Switzerland).
10. Laboratory tests for friction and wear of almost any materials (in air).
11. Engineering issues of working capacity of friction units on the basis of application of new ceramic materials, laser and plasma hardening technologies.

18. Development of auto-balancing devices for oil production pumps in order to reduce vibration loads and increase the life of aggregates.
19. Development and implementation of multichannel specialized fiber-optic systems for measuring hydrodynamic loads on the surface of complex and inaccessible structures (pipelines, cylinders and other bodies of non-standard profile), flowed by a flow of water or air of an arbitrary direction.
20. Tests of materials and model samples with cracks of various types of conditions for cyclic, high-temperature steady-state and plasma effects.
21. Investigation of the deformation properties of composite materials using the compact coherent-optical equipment developed at the IMASH RAN.
22. Investigations of high-gradient fields of residual stresses in laboratory and field conditions (using compact equipment developed at the IMASH RAN).

27. Modeling and computational analysis of oscillations in machines, vibrational technological processes, dynamics of rotor systems for various purposes.

29. Conducting consultations on general issues of machines dynamics, organizing and conducting experimental research
30. Studying the frequency properties of biomechanical (sport) and technical products under the strikes impact and torsional-bending vibrations, using the IMASH's test equipment.
31. IMASH RAS offers vibration testing of various mechanical objects (driver's seats, vibration protection platforms, shock absorbers, etc.) using a vibration test equipment based on the electrohydraulic stand EGV 10/100, which performs experimental determination of amplitude-frequency and static characteristics, impedance characteristics, as well as the analysis of reactions to the stepwise action of various mechanical objects weighing up to one ton at the frequency range of 0-100 Hz.
32. Application of the IMASH's laser holographic equipment for the study of dynamic models of biomechanics in the "man-machine-environment" system.
33. Test equipment and measuring means for carrying out program non-stationary loading under high-temperature heating in room temperature and vacuum conditions.
34. Application of theoretical methods and experimental technique for assessing the fatigue resistance properties and the accumulation of fatigue damages under conditions of dynamic loading, allowing to evaluate the resource of the structure, taking into account the scattering of strength and loading characteristics.
35. Carrying out tests for friction and wear of the "Termar”carbon material.

3. Automated equipment “MTI-2m “ for the investigation of surface mechanical properties of tribotechnical materials by the microprocessing of an indenter.
